Might as well buff this joint

Dog-sitter fell through, and the pet motel at Tenaya Lodge is filled up, so I get to stay behind while my family gets to spend a few spectacular days and inviting nights at Yosemite. Cosmo is a lover, lap dog, Skye-Westhighland White Terrier mix, perfect for our pet-loving girls, but requiring a lot of human companionship.



So I'll futz around with updating the software, Celandine's request for more/better smilies, MYcode for multimedia-video embedding/spoilers/whatever/etc.

So, sometime in the next 24-30 hours or so, this will come offline for a few minutes for the update; with the smilies, Mycode and whatever else done live on-the-fly.

Maybe add a new forum, maybe something like The Living Room, since that's where a lot of computing, communications and entertainment stuff comes together, so that bucket seems to make sense insofar as getting the discrete chunks right, demystifying stuff/technobabble/misconceptions/etc, and getting it right in unison as an optimal unified user experience (sort of the Apple way).

So, this is a good opportunity to get off my duff and get this out of the way, so I can jump off onto working some too long neglected low hanging fruit stuff to harvest.
